Well I guess expressing one's opinion with their wallet is something I can only respect. Though in this case it's a little early to start doing that since this issues is literally a few hours old and CCP has barely had time to form an opinion on the matter.

Normally I ignore these threads (The I Quit Protest Threads) because they are normally started by some alts alt in an npc corporation nobody's heard of (this person is not one of those though.. Its weird that people would protest in these ways, as there has to be other avenues of community policing that could happen.

Not to knock down the protest but a more concerted effort is needed (not a gut reaction then a post on a forum without gathering like minded people with you). If you think this is stirring up support, you'll be attacked by the forum trolls trying to bury this long before you get your supporters.

A better avenue (Louder forum) is needed.

The day that CCP devotes resources to holding the hands of players and protecting them from other players is the day that EVE dies and becomes yet another generic world of warcraft clone.

There are already limits. You can scam someone, take advantage of them, blow up their internet spaceships, declare war against their corporation, etc. This is a sandbox game.

If you were personally threatened (as in, threats against your real life person) then you need to contact CCP, they will take care of you and they will act in such situations. If you got scammed, conned, war-decced, exploded, hunted down and blown up over and over and cancelled your accounts due to this - perhaps the right move would have been to learn from your mistakes and not make them again?

Anyway, judging by your equating in game actions with "cyber-bullying" and accusing CCP of tolerating this - it's probably best that you quit Eve. CCP does not tolerate threatening other players and they will act against accounts that cross this line. If this is what happened to you, you should have flexed right rights under the EULA and asked CCP to step in.

Somehow, I doubt this is what happened.

You see, referring to other players as "trash" is not going to get you very far. It's hard to seem like the "good guy" when you are hurling insults around.

This is CCP's attitude to RL bullying in their game. Using a public forum to mock and humiliate players both in game actions and out of game circumstances.

Taking a private communication and broadcasting it to an entire public audience by putting it on a projector. Not only a breach of privacy but a breach of law.

CCP is very lucky that didn't escalate, the guy didn't self harm and they didn't get sued.

Exactly what I was thinking. You might get this Sohkar guy into a crap ton of trouble. Needless to say if he has children and daddy has to goto court then you have put him in a very bad situation by wanting it publicized. I hope you can live with your "white Knight" routine.
